ABOUT ME

I think of learning experience design as a mix of art & science. While it's important to understand how people learn and the science behind it, learning experiences that are creative and personal can engage the learners more effectively. 

I am a researcher and educator--I've got a master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and a doctoral degree in International& Multicultural Education. In the past 7 years, I have been applying my expertise in mixed-methods research, design strategy, and curriculum design in higher education. I also have 15+ years of experience creating and facilitating engaging learning experiences. 

Outside of work, I am a nature enthusiast, yogi, mother of two, and coffee fanatics. I believe in living a life that is both fun and genuine.
